Parent Engagement Outreach Coordinator
Part-time | Approximately 20 hours per week | Milwaukee & Racine
BCDI-Wisconsin is hiring two Parent Engagement Outreach Coordinators—one focused on Milwaukee and one on Racine—to support Healthy Start for Growing Families. Help strengthen parent participation, connect families with resources, and advance community efforts to improve maternal and infant health.
Current college students and early-career candidates are encouraged to apply! We welcome relevant experience gained through professional roles, internships, volunteer service, student leadership, or community-based work.
What you’ll do

Recruit and engage parents in the Healthy Start Community Consortium.

Coordinate workshops, support groups, community events, and outreach.

Build relationships with families, healthcare providers, and community partners.

Track participation, maintain records, and support program reporting.
What you’ll bring
Strong communication and organizational skills, a commitment to culturally responsive family engagement, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Relevant education or experience in outreach, public health, education, human services, or related fields is preferred. Student, volunteer, and community experience are welcome.
Schedule & requirements
Hybrid office and community work, with local travel and evening or weekend hours. A valid Wisconsin driver’s license, reliable transportation, auto insurance, and required background checks are necessary. Duties include transporting and setting up event materials weighing up to 25 pounds, with reasonable accommodations available.
Compensation & benefits:
Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week. Includes paid time off and holidays; not eligible for other employee benefits.
